After a double-grande, sleepless start (Sarah and Lori worked a 12-hr night shift), we headed up the Mountaineer Creek trail towards Colchuck lake.  We arrived to a great site in the late afternoon and after setting camp, enjoying the views and fixing dinner we got some well deserved shut-eye.  The next day we headed up the gateway to the enchantments, Asgaard pass.  A 2,700 ft. elevation gain in 3/4 mi.  All thought the trip was ending when Lori's pack took her a sizable tumble down multiple boulders, but 3 nurses to pull her out of a hole and quick examination revealed only a few scrapes, bruises and a busted packet of GU.  After lunch at the pass, we headed for camp 2 below the frozen over Tranquil Lake, to be greeted by goats, lots of goats; goats that like pee.  Day three, we kicked back, catching some rays along the creek and playing the most bizarre games of Uno.  That evening we headed back up to the pass for and amazing sunset fronted by Dragontail Peak.  On day four, the gang headed up Little Annapurna for a day hike and beautiful parade of butterflies.   Day five, we moved camp, stopping at Sarah's waterfall for the afternoon.  Sarah tried her luck at fishing in Inspiration and Perfection lake, while the rest of us took a day hike around the surrounding lakes.  We camped that night at the waterfall above Leprechaun lake.  The last day we made a 10-mile push for the car destined towards Uli-burgers and brews.
